Putney craft tour showcases local artisans, food vendors in its 47th year
PUTNEY - Meet 24 of Vermont’s most prominent makers at the 47th annual Putney craft tour, Friday through Sunday, November 28 through 30, from 10 am to 5 pm daily.
The day after Thanksgiving, studios of 24 of Vermont’s most prominent makers invite the public in to discover, ask questions, and acquire a one-of-a-kind gift direct from the crafter.
Glassblowers, potters, jewelers, painters, sculptors, stained glass artisans, woodworkers, photographers, and award-winning wine and cheesemakers will welcome visitors to studios. Tour-goers can start at Putney Winery & Spirits where tour maps are available.
Participants will include glass artisans, ceramicists, painters, jewelry makers/silversmiths, woodworkers Blake Johnson, fiber artisans, multi-media artists, photographers, and the Parish Hill Creamery.
Sandglass Theater will present “A Rafter of Crankies,” at Green Mountain Orchard. Performances will take place on Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29, shows at 5 and 7:30 pm. For more information about the shows go to sandglasstheater.org/contact.
