Theater Makers Summer Camp enrollment open to grades 5 and up

Bennington Theatre, 331 Main Street, is offering two sessions of Theater Makers Summer Camp: Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17, and Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, from 9 am to 3 pm daily. The camp is open to students entering grades 5 and up.

Students are invited join the world of theater through a hands-on training camp designed for young artists. Over the course of the week, participants will explore every side of theater-making: acting, voice, movement, lighting, sound, scenic design, costumes, props, and more. Each day focuses on a different aspect of the craft, giving students the chance to experiment, collaborate, and discover new skills in a supportive, process-focused environment. Every stagecraft session is taught by working theater professionals, offering students real insight into how productions come to life both onstage and behind the scenes. Rather than working toward a polished final performance, campers will end each day with an informal sharing of what was created, explored or learned. Whether students dream of performing under the lights, designing the world behind the curtain or simply want to try something new, this camp is designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of theater.

Each day combines performance, design, technical theater, collaboration, and creative play. Specific session topics and guest artists will be announced soon.

Please complete payment and registration using the parent/guardian information at https://tickets.benningtontheater.org/event/theater-makers-summer-camp-k.... After payment is confirmed, there will be a prompt to complete a participant information form for the student being enrolled.

Tuition is $230 per session; scholarships are available.
