Upcoming events at The Clark

On Sunday, September 27, at 2 pm, the Coastlines closing concert with Camden Archambeau, cello and Umi Garrett, piano, will be held in the Manton Research Center auditorium. The program explores sounds inspired by depictions of the sea, with artistic movements from the 20th and 21st centuries, inspired by American artists Winslow Homer, Thomas Moran, and James McNeill Whistler.Archambeau and Garrett will play four compositions dedicated to these themes. Tickets are $15, $12.75 for members, $12 for college students, and $10 for children 17 and under). Accessible seats available.

On Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17, at 1 pm, The Clark presents “The Met: Live in HD,” at the Manton Research Center auditorium. This is the Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of live high-definition simulcasts. Broadcasts feature the full performance along with backstage interviews and commentary. October 3 will be “Così fan tutte,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with a run time of 3 hours, 35 minutes; October 17 will be “Macbeth,” by Giuseppe Verdi, with a run time of 3 hours, 30 minutes. Tickets to each event are $25, $21.25 for members, $18 for college students, and $5 for children 17 and under. Accessible seats available.

On Sunday, October 18, at 2 pm, in the Michael Conforti Pavilion, Jeewon Park, piano and Edward Arron, cello, artistic directors of the Clark’s Performing Artists in Residence program, are joined by collaborators for an afternoon of musical artistry. Tickets $25, $20 for members. Tickets for college students are available at no cost. All ticket sales are nonrefundable. A public reception in the Clark Center lower lobby follows the event.

Galleries at The Clark are open from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday through Sunday, from September through June, and daily in July and August. Admission is free to all from January through March. From April through December, admission is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors (65+), $10 for young adults (18–25) and college students, and free for all visitors under 18. Admission is free year-round for Clark members. Free admission is also available through several programs, including First Sundays Free, a local library pass program, and EBT Card to Culture.
