Legislature to hold public hearing on veterans’ challenges in state

VERMONT - The Vermont General Assembly’s non-partisan Vermont National Guard and Veterans Affairs Legislative Caucus will hold a virtual public hearing for veterans and military families living in Vermont on Thursday, October 28, from 5 to 7 pm.
Legislators want to hear directly from veterans of all conflicts and time periods and military families about opportunities and challenges they are facing including those that might be able to be addressed with state legislation.
Testimony can be submitted in writing or in two-minute time slots per speaker during a Zoom public hearing. To receive the link to testify or to submit written testimony email mbirong@leg.state.vt.us.
