Plant, bake, and book sale

WARDSBORO - The Friends of the Wardsboro Library is sponsoring its annual Memorial Day weekend plant sale on Saturday, May 28, from 9 am to 1 pm at 170 Main Street on the front lawn of the Wardsboro Library. The library trustees will also hold a bake sale and book sale at the same location, beginning at 9 am until all the homemade goodies are sold. Admission and parking are free and both events are held rain or shine.
A large variety of hearty perennials, colorful annuals, shrubs, Gilfeather turnip seedlings, vegetables, and herbs are all reasonably priced for the one-day sale.  A one-day-only raffle of select garden-related prizes is scheduled with winners announced at the close of the sale.
The annual plant sale is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Wardsboro Library, a nonprofit organization that supports the Wardsboro Public Library. For more information visit  www.friendsofwardsborolibrary.org.
