Calling all LEGO enthusiasts

The LEGO contest and exhibition at BMAC cultivates creativity and artistic appreciation for visitors of all ages.
The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center’s (BMAC) 19th annual LEGO contest & exhibit returns to the museum Thursday through Monday, October 8 to 12. Scores of fanciful original creations by LEGO builders of all ages will fill the museum’s galleries.
The creativity and craftsmanship of all contestants will be celebrated at an awards presentation on Thursday, October 8, at 5:30 pm. Prizes will be awarded in six age groups, and one exceptional structure will be honored as Best in Show. Special awards will be given out by Brattleboro Subaru for best vehicle, by Foard Panel for best home or building, by Chroma Technology for best use of light or color, and by Global Precision for best use of moving parts. Winners of these special awards will each receive a $100 gift card to the LEGO Store.
For anyone wishing to participate, entries must be delivered to BMAC on Tuesday, October 6, between 4 and 6 pm. An online entry form must be submitted before drop-off, including a $5 entry fee. Fee waivers are available upon request.
Every entry submitted will be on display at BMAC October 8 to 12, 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is “pay as you wish.”
