A letter of birthday thanks

To the Editor:
The words “thank you” are not enough to express my feelings of love and gratitude for all of the folks who chose to help me enter my eighth decade. It was one of my life’s most special experiences, made so by Andy, Sarah, Michelle, and Amy, but especially by all of you who came and shared yourselves with me. Your hugs, and smiling faces from many chapters of my life were just the best ever! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
