McLaren best choice for Lieutenant Governor
To the Editor:
As we look toward the future of Vermont, we need leaders who are compassionate with a resilient, community-focused spirit. That is why I am proud to support Ryan McLaren for lieutenant governor.
I have followed Ryan’s career closely and am consistently impressed by his ability to listen and to maintain a positive attitude. His experience is unmatched. From serving as a senior aide to Senator Peter Welch to working within state government, he understands the intricacies of policy and how to navigate the legislative process to deliver results for everyday Vermonters. He stepped up to serve on his local school board and is a staunch advocate for public education.
But what truly makes Ryan stand out is his character. Nine years after a life-altering ski accident at Mad River Glen, he continues to see the world through a lens of gratitude.
He believes in showing up, especially when things are hard, bringing a sense of empathy and grit to every challenge.
Ryan McLaren has the experience to lead with thoughtfulness and integrity. I urge my fellow Vermonters to join me in supporting him.
