Vandalism, racial slur found at Twin Valley

WHITINGHAM- Twin Valley Middle High School officials have responded to an act of vandalism that included a racial slur, reported in late January.
On January 25, a classroom teacher at the school reported that the phrase “N-word” had been written in marker on a lampshade in the classroom sometime over the previous several days.  The teacher suspended planned lessons for the day and showed a video on the impact of racial slurs, then held a discussion with students.
