Music Under the Stars at Retreat Farm

Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra (PESO) returns to Retreat Farm, 45 Farmhouse Square, for Brattleboro Music Center’s (BMC) Music Under the Stars series on Saturday, June 27. Gates open at 5:30 pm, the concert begins at 6:30 pm.

PESO is a steel pan band that was founded in 2015 and is based in Brooklyn, NY. The band uses its platform to promote unity throughout the culture and steel pan community.

Admission is free with donations welcome. All are welcome to bring lawn chairs and a picnic dinner. Please note that no outside alcohol is permitted, but beverages are available for purchase on site. Also, please note that only service dogs will be admitted to the grounds.

There will be a pre-concert workshop at 5:45 pm, where concert-goers can meet the pannists, and try the pans.

Other scheduled concerts include the Vermont Jazz Center Band, featuring Peter Eldridge of the New York Voices, on Saturday, July 1, and Celtic Night on Saturday, August 22.
