Speakeasy Series rolls out at White House Inn July 16

Friends of Historic Memorial Hall is launching The Speakeasy Series, a new monthly run of live performances at The Speakeasy at the White House Inn, 178 Route 9. The series opens Thursday, July 16, at 6:30 pm, with touring singer-songwriter Sean Griffin, and continues Wednesday, August 6, at 6:30 pm, with Alex Calabrese, frontman and songwriter of Boston-based folk-rock band Old Tom & The Lookouts. Each show features a local opening act.

The series pairs touring and regional artists with one of Wilmington’s most intimate rooms, close enough that the audience can be a part of the performance, not just watching it.

The Speakeasy Series joins a full 2026 season from Friends of Historic Memorial Hall that includes the Deerfield Valley Players’ production of “1776,” the monthly family series “Once Upon a Time at The Hall,” “Rooted,” the Friends gala, and the annual holiday concert.

Tickets for each performance are $20 and available at friendsofthehallvt.org.
