Okemo Fall Foliage train tour and fall festival

The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of a brand‑new autumn attraction: the Okemo Valley Fall Foliage Train & Pop‑Up Fall Festival, taking place Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4.

The Fall Foliage Train invites guests to board a vintage railcar and enjoy nearly an hour of scenic mountain views, brilliant color, and old‑fashioned rail charm. During the event, the train runs six times daily, at 9 am, 10:30 am, 12 pm, 1:30 pm, 3 pm, and 4:30 pm out of the depot on Station Street. Surrounding the rail experience is a lively Pop‑Up Fall Festival, featuring local food, Vermont artisans, seasonal treats, and autumn traditions.

The Okemo Valley Holiday Express returns on Saturday and Sunday, December 19 and 20. Departing from the historic Chester Depot, this one‑hour ride offers families a winter journey through Vermont’s snow‑covered countryside. Guests meet Santa and his elves aboard the train, with departures at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm.
