Twin Valley girls pick up win over Arlington, fall to Bellows Falls
WILMINGTON—The Twin Valley girls soccer team had another strong week, picking up a big 2-1 win over Arlington before losing a close contest to Division 3 Bellows Falls on Friday, Oct. 2.
The match on Monday, September 29, against Arlington was a hard-fought contest that had the feel of a playoff game.
Arlington (6-3) dominated play in the opening 10 minutes, putting three shots on goal early, but each time Twin Valley goalie Kate Oyer was able to make spectacular leaping saves to keep the Eagles off the board.
