Bingo fundaiser a big success

To the Editor:
The Deerfield Valley Food Pantry Board would like to thank everyone who helped make our second annual bingo fundraiser such a great success.
We are grateful to OSEC, the Chimney Hill Homeowner’s Association, Apple Tree Tennis Club, the Whitingham Public Library, Heartwellville Towing, Therese Lounsbury, Bob Edwards, Dewey Ballantine, and our faithful volunteers who donated resources, financial support, and manpower before, during, and after the event. Thanks to everyone who came out on a rainy day and played bingo, purchased raffle tickets and refreshments. And of course, we owe a huge thank you to the 91 individuals and businesses who donated items for the raffles and bingo prizes--all of which made our event outstanding. Those individuals and business are listed on our website (deerfieldvalleyfoodpantry.org) and on our Facebook page (facebook.com/DeerfieldValleyFoodPantry). Please thank these supporters when you see them out and about, and/or visit their businesses.
All of the community support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year. Thank you.
