Grant will help provide winter coats
WILMINGTON- Deerfield Valley Rotary Club President Angel Balch met with Twin Valley School Board members Tuesday evening to seek their collaboration for a Rotary Club community service project.
Operation Warm provides winter coats for children in need. Balch said she recently met with the head of the program in Chicago, and applied for a grant to buy 250 new winter coats to be distributed throughout the valley.
“We’ll disburse them to any child or adult that needs them,” Balch said.
