Hazard pay for front-line workers available

MONTPELIER- Gov. Phil Scott announced a hazard pay grant program for employers of certain front-line health care and human services employees this week.  
Under the program, employers of people in certain occupations, including medical care providers, first responders, dental personnel, nursing home staff, residential care and treatment staff, therapy providers, morgue workers, and workers in homeless shelters, can apply for the benefits, which must be paid to employees.
