Twin Valley School Board throws its weight behind study support group

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley School Board members discussed preparations for their budget informational meeting Tuesday evening, as well as their role as new members of a coalition lobbying for changes in education funding.
Twin Valley will consider contributing funding to a coalition of schools seeking to implement recommendations in the Vermont Pupil Weighting Factors Study.  If implemented, the recommendations would increase funding for many rural schools, schools with higher numbers of low-income students, English language learners, and special education students.
