Mountain to drain lake; other projects on hold

DOVER - On Thursday, October 27, Mount Snow officials and members of the public gathered for a pre-hearing conference with the District 2 Environmental Commission. Mount Snow is seeking renewal of its master plan, which was approved in 2011. At the conference, those speaking on behalf of Mount Snow said Vail, Mount Snow’s parent company, intends to move forward with reclamation of Snow Lake, but does not have intentions to undertake any of the other projects outlined in the master plan.
