Allow me to offer one more lens through which to appreciate Randy’s and Vicki’s contributions to our beloved Deerfield Valley: their achievements as very successful business people, who piloted a small business through almost every type of challenging condition possible. In particular, consider the fact that they took over the Valley News at the dawn of the internet—an event that ended up threatening and destroying many of the local news outlets people depended on.
