Broadband group preps budgets, seeks funding

DEERFIELD VALLEY - The governing board for DVFiber, the communications union district, held its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 21. At the meeting, the board welcomed a new town, Weston, into the CUD’s fold. The board also discussed its upcoming annual report, announced shifted meeting dates for November and December, and discussed grants it has received or is trying to receive. The board also discussed a potential issue with a recently-awarded grant received by VTel to expand service within DVFiber’s coverage area.
