DVFiber project to begin in Halifax, considering 1% local option tax
HALIFAX - The Halifax Selectboard set the property tax rate and donated $40,000 from ARPA funds to DVFiber during their regular meeting on Tuesday evening.
All tax rates went down from fiscal year 2022, with the total homestead rate now at $2.3105 and the non-homestead rate at $2.5229. The rates were unanimously passed by the selectboard.
