Local distillery lends a hand to virus fight
MARLBORO - In light of COVID-19, Vermont Distillers has added a new product to their line of liqueurs: hand sanitizer. Vermont Distillers president Ed Metcalfe, who runs the company with his sons Gus Metcalfe and Dominic Metcalfe, says the family saw a need in the region, and decided to answer the call.
“We’re not looking to make a killing on this,” he says. “We’re looking to do something for the community.”
