Author discusses newly released book, Around the World in 42 Days"
Dr. Imogene Drakes’ book launch for “Around the World in 42 Days,” hosted by the Windham County Branch of the NAACP at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, will take place on Saturday, August 22, from 3 to 5 pm, and St.Michael’s, 16 Bradley Avenue.
In the book, forensic scientist Drakes visits ancient places purported to having been built or touched by superhuman strength or skill, on a global quest spanning six continents and 11 countries. Drakes shares this journey with readers, exploring the majestic wonders of the world and offering an in-depth exploration of ancient sites.
At the event, Drakes will speak, read from the book, and show slides. The book is available for purchase from Amazon starting August 13, and books will be signed throughout the event. There is also a mini-movie about the book: https://f.io/mOGRCNbF.
