Fairy stroll coming to downtown Wilmington

There will be a magical fairy Village Stroll on Saturday, July 18, from 5 to 7 pm, through downtown Wilmington. This event promises an evening filled with creativity, imagination, and fairy-tale fun for all ages.

The magic begins at 5 pm with a special story time on Memorial Hall lawn, courtesy of Bartleby’s Books. Dressing in costume is encouraged, and all are invited to join the parade following story time, led by the melodies of the Woodland Musicians. Participants will be invited to create a fairy wand, mix up a batch of whimsical fairy dough, and add a touch of sparkle with fairy hair. Don’t forget to stop by the wishing well to make a magical wish.

Search downtown businesses for fairy doors that have been scattered about. Bring family and friends, and step into a world where fairies dance and dreams come true.
