WILLIAMSTOWN, MA—On Sunday, October 20, at 2 pm the Clark Art Institute hosts renowned glass artist Josh Simpson, who offers a glimpse into historical and contemporary glassmaking techniques. This free event takes place in the Clark’s auditorium, located in the Manton Research Center.
Presented in conjunction with “Fragile Beauty: Treasures from the Corning Museum,” this talk explores the intricate process behind creating one of the exhibition’s objects, Megaworld. Simpson discusses how natural and astronomical inspirations translate into glass art.
