Singers, listeners are invited to performance
BRATTLEBORO - The Brattleboro Music Center hosts the Brattleboro Ballad Sing, set for Sunday, March 17, from 1 to 3 pm. Returning after a four-year hiatus, this event focuses on the sharing of traditional-style ballads by various singers in attendance.
Singers familiar with this tradition are invited to sing a ballad, and expected works will include ballads from the American and British traditions, but ballads from other traditions are welcome.
Listeners are heartily encouraged to attend as well. Admission is by donation, suggested amount is $5 to $10.
