Last week we reported on the Marlboro School Board’s heart-wrenching decision to put the future of their school to a public vote. It looks like there will be no good choice on the ballot. Their options include maintaining their second through eighth grades for 40 students at a cost that would add about $1,200 to the education tax bill for the owner of a Marlboro property assessed at $300,000, or closing the school altogether, which would cost that same property owner about $3.
