Just in case readers haven’t noticed, there’s an election going on this fall.  
Of course, the presidential election is pretty hard to miss.  Anyone who spends even the smallest amount of time consuming media, from traditional print, radio or television to digital media of all types, has likely been bombarded with national advertising, social media posts and tweets, and all manner of information (and likely, disinformation) about the candidates.
