EDFD open house, 9/11 remembrance thanks

To the Editor:
The East Dover Volunteer Fire Co. would like to thank all who joined us on Saturday, September 12, at our open house and remembrance of 9-11. Special thanks go to Rep. Laura Sibilia and Fr. Thomas Lipnicki for their words of encouragement and support. We were also joined by a number of friends and neighbors who were recognized for their service in our communities. Unfortunately, I failed to afford the same honor to several veterans who were in attendance. I offer my respect for your service and apologies for the oversight.
We were greatly encouraged by the interest shown by some of our guests in joining our fire department to help us better serve the town of Dover and surrounding communities.
