Lawmakers are proposing a carbon tax

Vermont lawmakers, egged on by environmentalists and companies that stand to profit, are proposing a carbon tax. They claim that their Economy Strengthening Strategic Energy eXchange plan will attract businesses, create jobs, and deliver the cheapest and cleanest electricity in New England. Perhaps it will also cure acne and guarantee daily sunshine.
