BBA, Leland & Gray students among State of Union Essay Contest winners
VERMONT- Sen. Bernie Sanders recently announced the winners of his 15th annual State of the Union Essay Contest, which gives Vermont high school students the opportunity to describe a major issue facing our country and propose what they would do to solve it.
This year, 475 students from 25 Vermont high schools submitted essays. A panel of nine Vermont educators served as volunteer judges, ranking the essays and selecting 12 finalists and three winners.
