Board seeks to improve student retention

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley School Board members approved expanded availability of college courses and discussed ongoing maintenance issues at their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
Twin Valley Middle High School Principal Anna Roth proposed the purchase of 10 vouchers for three credit classes at Community College of Vermont for use by Twin Valley High School students.  Roth said the expenditure of $6,580 for the 10 vouchers - a 30% discount over the regular cost of 30 credits -  would result in a net gain for the district by keeping some students enrolled.
