District considers future changes

WARDSBORO- On Monday, April 5, the River Valleys Unified School District board discussed potential changes ahead for the 3-year-old district at their regularly scheduled meeting. The board has charged Windham Central Supervisory Union Superintendent Bill Anton with looking into changes they can make to more efficiently and effectively run the district. Since the district was formed, there have been no major changes according to chair Rich Werner.
“When we looked at this originally,” said Werner, “there weren’t a lot of cost savings, but maybe things have changed.”
