WILMINGTON - A midmorning fire on Ray Hill Road resulted in the loss of a family pet and many of a family’s belongings and personal items. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help Kevin Aldrich and Carolyn Hadden, whose home was involved in the fire.
By dinnertime on Wednesday, November 1, a week after the fire, Kevin Aldrich, who lived in the dwelling that caught fire at 290 Ray Hill Road last week, was exhausted. He’d spent the past few days going through the site with the fire inspector.
