MONTPELIER-  Citing a stabilization of COVID-19 case growth in Vermont, Gov. Phil Scott temporarily eased some restrictions on multi-household gatherings during the holidays at his press conference Tuesday.  The governor was joined at the podium by Rep. Peter Welch, who spoke about the stimulus bill that was recently passed by Congress and, he said, is on its way to the White House for the president’s signature.
Gov. Scott also announced a phased restart of youth recreation and school sports, and a return to earlier guidance regarding outdoor activities.
