DOVER - Dover resident Margaret “Peg” Powers has been appointed as a committee member to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, a newly-formed state commission whose work is getting underway.
“It’s a herculean task,” said Powers this week of the work she and her fellow committee members are embarking on with the commission, which was created through Act 128, adopted into law in May 2022.
