WHITINGHAM- Unexpected maintenance issues and how to pay for them topped discussions at the Twin Valley School Board’s regular meeting Tuesday. 
It was the board’s first meeting following a break over the month of July. During that time, said chair Kristy Corey, she authorized more than $67,000 in emergency roof repairs at Twin Valley Middle High School. Corey said the roofing issues became evident during the heavy rains in early July that resulted in flooding in some parts of the state.
