WILMINGTON — The Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce selected lifelong skier and local resident Pam Greene as its new executive director about two weeks ago. 
Greene has long had roots in the valley, as she lived in Bennington and traveled over the hill to ski Mount Snow in her childhood. She was a ski instructor at the mountain in the mid-1990s and went on to teach across New England for four decades, including working with adaptive ski and sport programs for the last two decades.
