WARDSBORO - Voters at next week’s Town Meeting in Wardsboro will weigh in on whether the town should implement a 1% local option rooms tax. 
The article pertaining to the matter, which will be voted from the floor, reads: “Shall the town of Wardboro vote to implement the 1% local option rooms tax on all short term rentals as a means to raise additional town revenue? This revenue will be used for capital projects or by local organizations for community activities and events.”
