Property owners pack hall for short-term rental hearing

WILMINGTON- Wilmington property owners packed the meeting room at Town Hall Monday evening for a planning commission hearing on a sweeping update to the town’s zoning regulation. 
Although many of the proposed changes could be considered “housekeeping,” such as updating language and standards to meet recent changes in state land use statutes, most who offered testimony at the meeting were focused on sections addressing short-term rentals and related subjects.
