Readsboro, Halifax fill new school board seats
DEERFIELD VALLEY- On Tuesday, voters in Halifax and Readsboro elected their first town school board members following the dissolution of the Southern Valley Unified Union School District last fall.
Under state statute, Vermont Secretary of State James Condos was required to warn special meetings in the reconstituted town school districts to elect three board members, with terms expiring in March 2021, March 2022, and March 2023.
