Readsboro holds in-person Town Meeting
Masks were not required during Readsboro's Town Meeting, though votes and board members remained socially distanced.
READSBORO- On Monday evening, the town held its first Town Meeting in the school auditorium since 2020, and voters were in the mood to say “yes.” Voters approved every article on the 12-article warning, pausing only for discussion on a few expenditures.
Even with all of the spending articles passed, selectboard member Ray Eilers said the town tax rate was slated to go down by about 2.19% over the current year.
