Scott thanks voters, calls for Vermonters to “come together”

MONTPELIER- Gov. Phil Scott discussed the statewide and national results of last week’s election at his weekly press conference Wednesday, thanking voters for his victory, and calling on Vermonters to seek unity.
In statewide results, Gov. Scott said gains by Republicans in the House and Senate were a message from voters to legislators to focus on the needs of working Vermonters.
