Testing shows PCB levels at school are low

WHITINGHAM- The long-awaited results of testing for airborne PCBs at Twin Valley Middle High School were released Friday, and it was good, and perhaps surprising, news for students, parents, and school officials.
The test results indicated only one of the areas tested in the school, the library, had levels of airborne PCBs high enough to require the school to take action.  The test levels showed a concentration of 77 ng/m3 (nanograms per cubic meter), just over Vermont’s lowest school action level.
