Town considering what to do about beach, lake access for summer

WILMINGTON- At their regular meeting Wednesday evening, selectboard members discussed the prospects of recreation and events this summer in light of the COVID-19 pandemic
The board met with Great River Hydro spokesman Matt Cole to discuss summer activities at recreation areas on Harriman Reservoir, as well as at town-owned parks and beaches. Cole said Great River Hydro had not made a final decision whether to open their recreation facilities as usual on May 31. Cole said he was still hoping for additional guidance and clarification from Gov. Phil Scott.
