Town hikes transfer station fees
WILMINGTON- Fees for disposing of household waste and other refuse at the transfer station will increase, as the town seeks to recover at least some of the rising costs for waste disposal, the selectboard decided at their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
The board approved a plan by highway superintendent Marshall Dix to raise fees on some categories of trash and recycling starting January 1, 2026.
