TVES principal advocates on national level for school needs

WILMINGTON - Last month, Rebecca Fillion, principal of Twin Valley Elementary School, traveled to Washington, DC. While she was there, she had the opportunity to meet with leaders of schools from around the country, and advocate for the needs of local educators and students in meetings on Capitol Hill, including one with Sen. Bernie Sanders. 
Fillion was in Washington for the National School Leaders Advocacy Conference, which she attended in her capacity as president of the Vermont Principals’ Association Executive Council.
