WILMINGTON- Twin Valley School Board members approved a $10 million budget for fiscal year 2023, and addressed a current fund balance that has ballooned to almost $1.7 million at their regular meeting Tuesday evening. 
Board members discussed a budget surplus figure of $1,697,000 that was revealed at a recent finance committee meeting.  Previously, the 2021 budget surplus had been figured at about $1.1 million.  According to the discussion, the additional surplus was identified as part of the district’s financial audit.
