WHITINGHAM—The first that Cheryl Boyd knew of the brief, vicious storm was a strange noise in a deserted hallway at Twin Valley Middle High School last Thursday.
Boyd, a janitor at the school, was cleaning some lockers in the middle school section when she heard a strange roaring noise in the corridor.
“I was washing the lockers in the middle school hallway, which is in the pod where a lot of damage happened,” Boyd said. “I needed to clean my water bucket, so I went in the cleaning closet, and when I was in there, I heard the strangest sound coming down the hallway.
