Whitingham voters have questions but sign off on articles

WHITINGHAM- Voters passed almost all of the appropriations on the Town Meeting warning Tuesday, although some articles were amended from the floor.
Article 1, to approve $740,771 for the town’s general fund, was the subject of several questions from John Robohm.  According to the warned article, $323,476 of the general fund would be raised in taxes, with the balance funded by $260,332 in anticipated revenue and $156,963 from the fiscal year 2022 fund balance.
